That’s why Itron is proud to sponsor and actively participate in the 2026 UBBA Plugfest,  where utilities, technology providers, and industry partners will come together to validate solutions, test interoperability, and explore new ways to support grid modernization.

This year’s Plugfest will focus on AMI 2.0, with Itron-led teams demonstrating the following use cases in the Elm Fork I & II Plugfest Room:

• Waveform Capture and Analytics: October 14 at 1:00 p.m. CT, in collaboration with Ericsson, Anterix, Black & Veatch, Southern Linc and Florida Power & Light
• DER / Flexible Load Control: October 14 at 3:00 p.m. CT, in collaboration with Nokia, Anterix, BEC, Sequans, DLC and ComEd
• Load Disaggregation & Scheduling: October 15 at 1:00 p.m. CT, in collaboration with Nokia, Anterix, BEC, Sequans, DLC and ComEd
• Fault Detection and Location: October 15 at 3:00 p.m. CT, in collaboration with Ericsson, Anterix, Black & Veatch, Southern Linc and Florida Power & Light
