To get maximum value out of this class you should already have a basic knowledge of the IEE MDM application and user-interface, service point model, and AMI functionality.

This includes high level familiarity with how IEE MDM works, understanding of how it is configured, and training or experience in using its user interface.

Module 6: FB03: Meter Data Management (MDM) Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Overview  

Introduces the key terms, concepts and features of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) meter data management (MDM) using Itron Enterprise Edition (IEE). An overview of AMI technology, business impacts, dataflow and workflow are described. IEE MDM AMI tools such as interactive communications and monitors are briefly introduced.
