Module 1: FA01: Administration System Settings

This module is designed for anyone responsible for setting up complex tasks and schedules in IEE. This can include operators, super users and administrators. To get maximum value out of this class you should already have a basic knowledge of the IEE MDM application, service point model, configuration (PBC and Advanced), and task basics.

Module 6: FA09: MDM Group Maintenance
This module explains how to create static and dynamic groups of entities, such as service points and accounts. Using these groups for reports, tasks, and other IEE MDM functions is also covered. By the end of this class you should be able to create and use MDM groups.

Module 7: FA06: Validation, Editing and Estimation

This module provides training on creating Validation Sets and creating Estimation Sets. Also covered is the functionality required to distribute queue workloads and configuration adjustments needed to support VEE operations.

Module 8: FA10: Universal Calculation Engine (UCE)

This module explains calculations and formula functionality in IEE. The Universal Calculation Engine (UCE) language and syntax is discussed, as well as some additional uses in graphs and reports.

This module module is designed for anyone responsible for configuring meters, service points, or accounts through Advanced Configuration. You should also have attended the Program-Based Configuration Basics class.

This class explains how to model demand response programs in IEE’s Rate Modeler. It covers: 

  • Creation of Critical Peak Pricing and Peak Time Rebate programs. 
  • Options for event handlers, aggregation and reporting types. 
  • Creation of programs with contract reservation charges, reduction and positive reduction, and net energy metering. 
  • Instructions for managing overlapping programs.

To get maximum value out of this class you should already have a basic knowledge of the IEE MDM application, the service point model, and Program-Based Configuration (PBC). You should also have experience building less complex rate schedules using Rate Modeler. Intended Audience The intended audience is IEE MDM super users and administrators..

Module 12: FA11: Settlements Advanced

Description:

This module covers the tasks that System Administrators or other key personnel will accomplish when configuring the Settlement Workbench to operate.

  •  Add a Settlement Market and Settlement Zone through the Rich Client User Interface.
  •  Add a Settlement Market or Settlement Zone to a Settlement Service Point in the User Interface.
  •  Add Settlement Codes through the Rich client User Interface.
  •  Locate the required API Schema definitions and samples for importing Settlement entities.
  •  Explain the relationships among Settlement Markets, Settlement Zones, and Settlement Points in the IEE Data Model.
  •  Recognize the presence of new Settlement tables in the IEE database.
  •  Adjust required settings, codes tables, and permissions in the Administration Workbench.
  •  Create a task for retrieving Settlement data.
  •  Schedule a task for submitting Settlement data.
  •  Configure an AMI Data Export task template for Settlements Data.
