Showcasing IoT Connectivity for Water Utilities at ACE22

June 10, 2022

Next week, Itron will attend American Water Works Association’s (AWWA) Annual Conference and Exhibition (ACE22), which will be held in person for the first time in two years. This year’s event will bring together water experts from around the globe in San Antonio, Texas to showcase and discuss solutions to ensure sustainable use of our world’s most precious resource.

At ACE22, we are looking forward to highlighting our proven water solutions that make every drop of water count. From smart devices to data-driven analytics, our solutions for water management equip utilities to improve operational efficiency, detect leaks, enhance customer engagement and conserve water.

In particular, many utilities are investing to modernize their infrastructure with Itron’s Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) which brings intelligence and decision-making to every corner of the water distribution system. Taking advantage of connected IoT endpoints, utilities with AMI are improving customer engagement with real-time data and reducing non-revenue water loss.

Additionally, water utilities are now realizing the benefits of cellular AMI, turning their distribution systems into smart water networks. With Itron’s AMI and IoT devices, water utilities can harness the ubiquitous connectivity of cellular technology to provide real-time data to enhance customer service and improve resource management. Beyond water management, cellular AMI offers broader connectivity, equipping utilities to take advantage of numerous smart city applications to support safer, more connected communities.

With deep industry expertise and innovative technology, Itron is committed to enabling water utilities to improve operational efficiency by equipping utilities to modernize their infrastructure. We look forward to showcasing our solutions at ACE22. If you are attending in person, be sure to visit us in booth 16078. We will also be posting event updates on social media, so be sure to follow us and use the hashtag #ACE22. If you are interested in learning more about our water solutions, click here.
