Itron Honored with 2015 Community Impact Award for Green Products/Services
At the second annual Community Impact Awards Gala, Seattle Business magazine honored the region's most influential business and community leaders. More than 360 guests attended the award reveal at the Museum of History and Industry to celebrate 26 honorees in categories ranging from sustainability to youth development.
Itron was the winner of the Community Impact Award for the Green Products/Services category. Itron was recognized for its commitment to helping customers be more resourceful and applying green procedures at its manufacturing facilities worldwide. Itron has 30 manufacturing facilities with ISO 14001 certification in environmental management across the globe. In addition, Itron headquarters in Liberty Lake is LEED gold certified for its green practices.
