Q: How would you describe your current role at Itron?  What types of things are you doing in an average week?
A: I lead Channel Partner Sales within the Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands with a strong focus on water. I’m responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships. 
My role includes identifying new business opportunities, building and managing partner networks, fostering strong relationships and developing go-to-market strategies that maximize the water market—delivering value to both partners and end customers.


Q: A lot of prospective employees want to know what the culture of Itron is like. How would you describe it?
A: The culture at Itron, especially within the APAC region, feels like a family. As a team, we work well together and genuinely support one another. I've built many great friendships with colleagues that extend beyond the workplace.


Q: Agile is one of Itron’s cultural values – tell us about a time when you had to act agilely to ensure success.  
A: In my new sales role, I was tasked with working alongside our partners to determine the best ways to serve and support our water utilities. We faced several roadblocks and challenges early in our transition program. Drawing on my experience managing the APAC Deal Desk and Proposals team, I was able to secure stakeholder buy-in and foster collaboration and transparency throughout the process. This helped propel our transition program forward, setting it on a successful path.


Q: You’ve had the opportunity to work in many different roles at Itron throughout your career – describe your career progression. Which role required the most agility? 
A: During my time at Itron, I've held seven different roles. I started on the Helpdesk before transitioning into Client Delivery. The majority of my career was spent in Project and Program Management, but moving into sales has been my most significant progression and change that required the most amount of agility.


Q: How does your current role impact Itron’s purpose to build a more resourceful world?
A: With my partners, I am driving the adoption of sustainable water management solutions. Particularly in Australia, we are working with remote Aboriginal areas and councils to implement efficient technologies, monitor real-time data and reduce water waste to help ensure communities have access to reliable, sustainable water resources.


Q: What gets you excited each day to show up to work at Itron? 
A: The opportunity to work with my team and earn commission.
